I swear I have been working on a LOT of things…..just not blogging.

Here is a sneak peak to some things. I made my own Pantone Postcards! Using artificial foods and the dimensions of a card along with the ingredients of the food. Super awesome!

I also did some film. I have no shots of some of the relationships I did, not sure but I forgot to take digital images, but here are some of the compliment studies I have been interested in. Going to work with the anthotype process again to make an actual compliment to this piece. Look for them next week!!!!!

Relationships

From one matter….to another. Here I study the origin of the product into a processed product. I am trying to decide if i want to keep the plate in the fame or if I should invest in plates to photograph on.

Compliments

Remember that time in science class when you would stick a stalk of celery into some colored water and watch the celery change color? Yeah, I am going back to those days but hey….might be something there.

New little sketches today. Check them out. I also took a couple quick images of the jar that I have been studying all month. Check out the decay from the lemon on top has really started the transformation. Tomorrow I am hoping to get a couple shots of the frames I built last week….was it last week…..doesnt matter.

Pantone Studies Redeveloped

These are some digital sketches I whipped up today. This is basically what I was trying to achieve while making the hand made images but they didn't not read as well. I think the images need to be flat. I am making these in the same dimensions as the Pantone Postcard. I will continue to possibly make more of these….potential part of the thesis show? Time will tell. Let me know what you think. All three have small images but most likely look find. I am reshooting them with a better camera this evening but enjoy the sketches for now. I was thinking a pantone food wall………..

Color Relationships

Is the relationship between the products really just the color?
