Fall

I set out early this morning to prepare a ton of work. I have accomplished that goal for now and will continue to pick it up later today. So I did my last project on the leaves falling from my tree in my back yard and because I had a whole sheet laid out it was hard to manage when I should take the paper in. I saw some really amazing colors and marks like the images I placed on the blog, Really beautiful yellows and shadows it looked like from the leaves when they fell. Like I said when I went to see it, I saw beauty but thought maybe it needed another day and then I lost that beauty. These marks dont stay but they are still so intriguing. So this time around I decided to make a handful of swatches and tape them to the board and leave them outside. Here are some short videos and photos.

These two images are from a piece of paper that I put outside like a month ago at the bottom of my steps to see what kind of marks and how it would take to the weather.

I also took some film images that I am excited to see. Here are some clips too:

Whats Outside....

Catching up on some reading but these are some images that I took of my table outside and what is happening. Also I sent out two rolls of film today. Should have those by the weekend to play with and I will keep photographing during the week.

Take a look:

Yesterdays Adventure

Here is a video that was made yesterday showing my process of coating a paper to placing the paper outside and letting it expose. (The video seems to not want to upload. Ill have to play around with it to see why it is not appearing on the blog)

I am going to take the camera out and photograph what is already happening on the paper because the color of the leaves themselves are fascinating and the marks that have already been left are wonderful. So far the non-coated paper looks better than the beet coated side as far as the reactions to the fall colors. Really exciting process I have adopted here. I also have my jars outside and have been for about two weeks now and I will photograph those again today. Some condensation is happening and I have decided since they are air tight containers that I would open them slightly to allow air inside for the foods to decompose slightly faster. So they will be shot today with the camera and then hopefully mid-late this week again with more defining change.

Here are some images of what is happening outside on the prepared table:
